    • You know you are in Benidorm during the summertime when:
    • The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
    • Hot water now comes out of both taps.
    • You can make sun tea instantly.
    • You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
    • The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a little chilly.
    • You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.
    • You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.
    • You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
    • You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.
    • Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"
    • You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.
    • The birds have to use pot holders to pull worms out of the ground.
    • The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out and add butter, salt, and pepper.
    • Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.
    • The cows are giving evaporated milk.
    • The trees are whistling for the dogs.

As I said in a recent post .....
I would rather stick hot needles into my eyes than visit that hell hole !!
Blackpool is Nirvana by comparison !!:wink::wink:

    Woosie...

A little bit of warmth and you start blubbing. :)

It always makes me smile when people in the UK tell me I am not very brown...

    Sit in the sun?

    You must be joking.

    So move.

There's plenty of cooler places, you need a good hill.

Although I love the winter sun here I would normally never come near the place in summer, but the price of labour is a quarter of that in the UK. I needed alterations to my trailer and a few jobs on the bus and it was a cheaper option whilst in continental Europe to get the jobs done here. Also it gave me the added advantage of picking my new pitch on the winter quarters which are nearing completion before Dellboy Smudger crosses someone's palm with silver for the best pitch. It takes a lot of cunning and skulduggery to keep one jump ahead of Dellboy

This trailer.... is this the RMB trailer you were excited about last month, or didn't that work out?

And summer in Bendidorm sounds lovely. I love that kind of heat.

It is the RMB trailer. I found out they only made the one so had to have it. I have been fitting it out with mains electric from the van inverter so as to be able to charge the buggys whilst on the move. Its a Fitzel knealer which the original owner bought and sent to RMB so as to have the coachbuilt body fitted. He had it made to carry his Porsche Speedster, CAPITALIST :D

Will do as soon as I get home Sue. I gave my camera to my daughter at Southport for safe keeping and forgot to get it back. An age thing I suppose.

Keeping the beer cold is a problem in its self once it gets to 40 plus in the sun. Thank goodness for the Dometic 3 way beer fridge in the garage. A fulltime job every night topping it up for next day. How on earth others manage without a beer fridge I do not know. Must cost em a fortune in the bar. Come to think of it, it costs me a fortune in cold beer for Dellboy Smudger.
