Benidorm for xmas

We were thinking now we have both finnished work ,of going to Benidorm for 4 weeks over xmas .Firstly does anyone else do this sort of thing ,secondly is anyone up for the laugh .It is M H F un .

We've been a few times for Christmas. Always had fun. Might be there this year on La Torreta.

Join the Benidorm Snowbirds group, which will start getting used as we move closer to winter.
We will be in Beni this winter, however not sure we will be there for Christmas.

Apart from the past 2 years and covid, Benidorm is a regular hangout for many Funster.
Lots of meet ups and get togethers..
As Sheddy states, Join the snowbirds group and maybe have a read of past posts.

Have you done it before ? We would be doing 4 weeks also .We hope this year is the year .

no this will be the first time. Will plan on driving down through france. But not made any arrangements yet. Think first thing will be to decide which sites to stay on and see what availability they have.

Mind you have done quite a fair bit of touring, (motorbikes, tent and caravan) over the years with little if any planning. Always a better adventure.

Well still trying to get first van sorted. But TBH as have 4 week trip in September planned then I need that sorting.

Sound like a good idea to do Beni and surrounding area with others.

We are still of a mind to do it,the diesel cost might be an issue.Its that daft at the moment , we have just been to a charity event .In the raffle were ,2 20 ltrs of diesel .

Should be collecting first van in 4 weeks. Can’t wait. Couple of weekends away the. 4 weeks in France in September.

Where are you going in September .We are going to Ypres ,and down to Normandy on the 5th of Sept 7.20 am Train .We are only going for 9 days ,just as a pre xmas run .As I have said before we know Normandy well .If you are around it would be great to catch up .

Have the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam on 2nd booked with return on 29th. But other than that nothing planned.
Would be good to meander across to Normandy area for a few days to meet up though

We have got 2 nights at Camping Jeugdstadion in Ypres Belgium on the 5th and 6th booked .The rest we intend to wing. If you have never been to The Menin Gate ,it is worth the trip .

Thank you for the info ,we were told that aires near major tourist spots are hit and miss .So with it been our first Rodeo ,with thought best to book something .The rest of the holiday will be on a wing and a prayer .
