We wouldn't go to Beni either.. it just doesn't interest us.. nothing there we would want to do.

Fun is having a good time.. and people find pleasure in many many different activities.... be it walking, cycling, water sports, photography, eating out etc...

Some like drinking and night-life.. so Beni is ideal,.. but that's not what we do..

how do you define 'fun' ?
We cycle walk, swim and eat out and do it all in and around Benidorm every winter,,Ideal climate,,beautiful walks either up in the hills or along the coast,,excellent cycling on quiet country lanes and restaurants for every taste and price,,,,,Something for every one,,,BUSBY:):):)

Had a week in Xabia called into Moraria and Calp a lot has changed since last there 25years ago passed by Beni now in Cabo de Gata Los Escullos. Lots of sun but still a nip in the air
Arrived home from Spain yesterday. We loved los Escullos - spent 9 days there, which is a lot for us. It was our favourite of the places we visited, but it was very windy. No doubt, that we'll be back there next year.

A Woosh bang
As Busby says. That's all.

perhaps.. but I still won't be visiting Benidorm.. that won't change..

so.. according to you I shouldn't be a funster..?
Maybe they shouldn't really be Funsters!

it would be a sad day if we all liked the same places..

Each to their own, without need to judge others who have different likes..

Let's face it...

The problem with Benidorm is that it is full of the English on holiday...

JJ
And nearly as many SPANISH....BUSBY.

We've just spent the past four months down here and enjoyed every minute. In July we will be once again in the most northerly place you can travel to in the British Isles.

Nothing wrong with variety, if everyone liked Benidorm you wouldn't be able to move down here, by the same token I love having an Island almost all to myself!

You can't make too much noise...our favourite wild camping spots are the graveyards which all have wonderful sea views!

I'm a newbie and always will be. You never know it all.
Camping Arminello.... Stopped there 2015
Dog friendly, good up to date facilities, easy access to town (10-15min walk) I will stop there again next time.
