When it rains like this in Benidorm that place can flood I know they had some caravans and motorhomes damaged last year

Quite a few Motorhomes have had to move to higher ground. The roadway that passes through the site has been closed. As far as I know, nobody has suffered any damage to their vehicle.

I think everyone is missing the point of the video. It shows an alien invasion, the lead alien is dressed like a Christmas Dalek with lesser aliens moving around disguised as bins.

It's called lateral thinking. Interfering with the weather would be child's play for an alien species. The invasion has started!

In Beni they also move around disguised as mobility scooters with large androids perched on top. This helps them blend in.

On a serious note I hope no one has been hurt.

For the first time in the 16 years I have overwintered here the Med is up to the promenade wall. I have never known such bad weather for so long in Beni. Traders are having a tough time of things as no one is venturing out.

Villasol is very wet with some pitches partially flooded but no reported damage so far, there is a further 2 days of rain forecast and it is still very windy. Not sure about Raco haven't seen any of the Funster Racoites in the last few days.

I messaged la torreta last night about our arrival on Monday and had heard that they had moved campers up to the top of the site. They messaged back that we could still arrive although we might be put in a temporary space for one night until the weather settles on Tuesday. I saw the car park that they intend to use for that but don't fancy spending nights in a car park when I paid for a pitch.

It`s actually not unknown, We had similar whilst in La Manga, and to a lesser extent at Alcossebre back when. Watching the "bins" on the move was like de-ja-vu!. 9"+ of water going down the "Road" in front of your pitch, is not comfortable, even if your are higher up in an R-V!!. I was lucky that day, I had the toad on the pitch, and not on the parking opposite where the Floating bins would have caused damage to the car!!

What is surprising, is that none of the "greens" have been on blaming "man made global warming!"

I believe the RAF are on standby, with the "beer run" but are having issues with accessing Spanish Air Space.! It would appear the (Spanish) authorities are not happy that the Chinooks are using A frames?.

I'm sure that they will oblige you if you wish to park in probably 2 ft of water, give the site a break.
