My people have reported that their subjects (residing in a camper van) have been retiring to bed very early...

My people were a little naughty to "let their hair down" and party into the early hours of Sunday morning :)party2::party2:) whilst the same subjects were suffering from the results of over eating.

Still... one of them, being awake, was cunningly recruited into being a new (unpaid) gate man... :thumb:

Well I'd volunteer to attend that !

Only trouble is no idea where I'd buy some of the ingredients to reproduce any of the recipes except the Liver and Chicken ones, here. Not seen any rabbit for sale for years, and certainly no Magret de anything. Likewise the Quail (although years ago, you could get em) (but then, I did have a Waitrose at my disposal then)

We always bring a load of magret de canard back with us in the freezer from France, I haven't seen it here. Good with traditional orange, Shirley also does it with cherries, haven't tried it with peach though.:thumb:

Everytime I go past a new local butchers I pop in to see if they have any fresh Rabbit or Duck.. Not found any yet.

Even my favourite butchers in Coningsby only has the frozen variety:cry:

    I miss my France:Sad:
