I'm a newbie
Hi all,

Can anyone help? We've always wanted to go to Wales in a Campervan. For our first experience we've hired a Fiat Chausson Flash 25 & the only thing on our plan is Snowdon & the railway during a 5 night break. We have never driven one before & looking for some help on easy places we can get to & great places to visit. We have 2 children aged 4 & 6 so needs to be suggestions that are family friendly.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

Hello Welcome to Fun, bit of a long shot but on the way to Snowdonia area is Presthaven Sands at Prestatyn not far from Rhyl, Presthaven is a Haven holiday site so could be good for the children for a couple of days on the way to Snowdonia, giving you a bit of diversity. just a thought :welc:

Welcome, so much to see and to do. Just wander and stop when something takes your fancy. Beaches, mountains, cockles and whelks :D....what more can you ask for!(y)
Seriously, if you have more than a few days and the weather is good have a go across the bridge onto Anglesey, there's loads to see and do. Use the Tourist Info places too they're all pretty helpful (even if you don't speak Welsh!)

We stayed on a brilliant CL at South Stack on Anglesey on our trip. We'll be returning at the first opportunity.

St David's, smallest city in Britain, lovely ice cream. Solva for crabbing on the quay.

Newgale beach miles of flat sand, take your kites. Camping field behind the stone dunes, great for safe swimming and surfing. Wetsuit hire in the shop.
