We got the road in before the rain, the springwater is piped in, the sewer pipe is half way there. Three of the pitches dug out and terraced today the rest tomorrow weather permitting, smallest pitch is 7m largest is 14m All the work has been overseen by a couple of very large Red Kites and a buzzard, maybe I look like I'm on my last legs, I must of climbed our hill a hundred times in the last few days, and spent hours on the end of a shovel, maybe those birds are waiting for me to keel over::bigsmile:

We are blessed here, the view from the pitches is superb, the eye is first taken down the valley then back up to the cambrian mountains suspended beyond. Some of you have seen it so you'll know what I mean, if you hav'nt, then you should:winky:

5 on the top field, 5.5 metres wide, all on hard standing though not quite sure of the actual finish yet, aggregate prices are horendous, I used 250ton on the road and it still needs the topcoat binder yet:Eeek: I reckon my son might see the return if he lives long enough, I wont, good fun though, and a small price to pay to have funsters turn up and give me beer::bigsmile:

Looking great! Love that misty pic too. It is alot of hard work, but will be worth it.

Ours is in a similar state - probably a little behind yours. I have promises it will be open this year...we'll see!

Excellent work - big funster opening ahead..we'll all turn up at once and test your electric breakers.......mind you, if we did and everyone buys you a beer, you'll probably be too p*****d to care!!:ROFLMAO:

    much respect to you Jim.
takes a lot of hard work and even more hard earned to set something like that up and to see very little return for the pain.

worth more that a lousy beer i think.:roflmto:

reckon we'll be there at some point this year to 'wet the babies head' :thumb:
