beamish museum parking

Hi has anyone overnighted at Beamish museum ,? I recently visited by car and noticed many motorhomes parked up and it looked like the were staying ..reading Beamish blurb they state overnight parking is not permitted. Can anyone confirm or deny this.. Roy

We have been to a couple of rallies at Beamish but not recently. Don't know if they still do them.

Most clubs seem to Rally there. We were there this morning and CCC Durham DA were settling in on the car park for the weekend.

We are intending going with the MCC next weekend. Rallies are legal but, without a site licence, ad hoc camping would not be as the demand would be sure to outstrip the legal limits very quickly.
