be warned if you go to gravelines Aire

Was there for 4 nights in September no problem except payment machine out of order!Looks as if anywhere in northern France a problem😊!We always go to Gravelines at start and finish of our French holidays after Calais became a no go area!

Absolutely, agree we have been going for ten years now two or three times a year , never seen a bit of trouble but haven't been for two years now :( so could have changed I suppose.
We like it that much that last time we went we stayed there a whole week and had daily tours out.
As to the machine it's always a bit dicky but don't think anyone has ever been done for non payment.

This post reminds about the situation at Cite Europe. A few of us saw migrants around the car park, quite rightly we/they posted their observations and concerns. This is then followed by multiple replies saying things like, we’ve been overnighting there for years and we have never seen any migrants. I think most of us are on message and now avoid this area. My truck driving buddy is not supposed to fuel up or overnight anywhere near Calais, and I’m quite happy to follow his example.
I thank the op for passing on this information.

It's easier (and safer) to ignore those that have been going there since the beginning of time without any problems, rather than take any chances at all.

It just isn't worth it, there are plenty of other stops available, it only takes one incident to set alarm bells off.
