Meter not working here in Berck Plage! So 'gratuit' and the sun is shining!

We were there on 1st Oct & it was bust then. There is a sign on the notice boards at either end stating that fees will be collected by the ASAP Man.
He never came, we think it was out of season for Berck.
Met an English chap who reckon'd the machine was not working the previous year, so it's probably pay when asked to by the ASAP .

Oh well, makes the holiday more enjoyable. Back up near Calais in the rain. Tunnel tomorrow then up to the NEC. This North Coast of France is really worth a visit. This time of the year is particularly good as there are still a few places open and we noticed that there is a an indoor pool etc. at Berck - Plage if you had children to entertain. Just done the Auchan shop and refuel at 1.249 euros per litre.
