A tip for making mincemeat pies, use shortcrust pastry on the bottom and puff pastry on the top ... you get the benefit of the shortcrust not falling apart when you try to eat it with the lovely meltingly crispy puff pastry on the top. :xThumb: Hubby loves them ... I can't stand mincemeat! :xshout:
