i watched this on beeb 2 last night

    just wondering on others thoughts

my weight has gone from 11 stone while smoking

to 16 stone 21 years after stopping

it seams that there is more gains than losses

to this form of planned diet

did think about calorie restricted but

    this seems a similar alternative

    two days limited calories 600

5days normal diet is it the answer toy dreams

    only considering at the moment

but i may just give it a try :Eeek::Eeek:

i will let you know if i go for it

You do it and I will too. it certainly sounded convincing. So would it be Monday and Thursday? You need time to build up again for Monday. I've been forced off my anti-inflammatory drugs and I'm sure the only answer to this pain would be weight loss. My weight gain was also caused by giving up smoking, loss of dog (hence no walking) and being made redundant. ::bigsmile:

I just spoke to sandy and he went pale so, obviously, he won't be doing this and we're off to the saltfleet gala weekend this weekend so I won't start it then. Perhaps Tuesday, although that day I push the sweetie trolley round the wards at St James' Hospital and I might pass out so maybe it will have to be Wednesday. Perhaps when I've done it once, it won't be so hard the next time. Oh dear - but then should I wait until after the school holidays so I don't have so much pressure? Oh dear! I'm confused and procrastinating. I will do it one of these days and let you know. ::bigsmile:

Like most diets/addictions, it`s more about willpower than anything else.

Not sure if on the prog or that newspaper article, it says it only takes 2 weeks for your body to get used to the fasting days.

For me, it`s all about how many excuses I can come up with NOT to do it, that`s why we chose Friday so not too long to think about it.

malvern next week.... Mmmmm, now, what days are the bacon butties normally on.......Mmmmmm :ROFLMAO:

We have chosen Mondays and Fridays for now. Will update throughout Friday.

Steve (& Jane who thinks she will do better than me).

Seeing all those muscular bodies on the tv and then looking in the mirror is enough for me :Eeek:
I have no will power but--- I had a bet with a fellow smoker years ago to give it up.
The first to start or get caught would pay the other £1000
That has worked for both of us, now we both want to loose weight-- how can we work this ?

Just be a bit naughty. Life's too short to obsess. Start the diet after your nephew's gone and don't feel guilty. ::bigsmile:

Why is it when you get older --

    The fags have to go
The beer has to stop --shandy only
The food looks like animal feed --no more mixed grills
Women have to be less athletic

Why is it all the things we want in life we can`t have:cry:

You go on diet. If you lose a load of weight I give you £1, if you don't you give me £10000 on an annual basis.

    Cash or PayPal.
