I had one of these in my previous MH which I sold about a year ago. I have bought another for the new to us MH. Worked well, being a GEL it can be discharged down to 20% without any problems. Almost like having two wet type batteries.

Should mention you will need to check if your solar panel controller and chargers can handle GEL batteries

I haven't used Banner leisure batteries but I did buy one for each of our three cars. One packed up after 18 months which was replaced without question. But for me that was a 33% failure. The other two have gone on for the last four years and are still going strong. I think it comes down to the quality control. If your lucky they will work fine but a 33% chance you might get a duff one.
With the 110 amp Gel I find it works fine for me and one leisure battery is sufficient. A 110 wet battery leaves me with a flat battery over night, especially if the heating is on.

The post by @nickvanbitz pretty much sums it up , how much do you use and what do you want to pay . The Rolls battery is like the Trojan , but costs. Its your decision and how you justify . The other factor is space and payload. The Trojan is 28kg and you need two for 12v .
