I,v autotrail 2005 with 3x85 amp batteries when not in use thay drop every day
When charge they start at 12.7
Next day12.6
Next day 12.5 etc
And so on.
Switched every thing off double checked everything battery's are only 6 months old
If I charge batteries and disconnect they stay at 12.7 and not drop.
I now there must be a drain somewhere but does anyone now if there is a common
Problem on these motors.

I.v left alarm off no locker lights there are coboard lights but sure there on door switches. The control panel is always on but I don, suppose that would use that much power.

You need to put an ammeter in the circuit and establish what the draw is...
Then it's a matter of isolating the different circuits by pulling fuses while watching the meter to see which ones the drain is on ..

An ammeter in series with the batteries would tell you how much is being drawn - then you need to pull fuses one by one to find the culprit.

A Woosh bang
Grey or fresh water 12v tank heater, which may have been installed by a previous owner..

Unlikely, but still a possibility, Truma Frost valve, older models have a 12v supply.

A friend of ours recently bought a new Elddis Majestic with the same problem of the battery voltage dropping. His main problem was that after two weeks there was not enough battery power to start the motorhome engine even though it was hooked up to the 240. To cut a long story short, the 240 hookup was not wired to charge the cab battery, only the leisure battery and when we tested the voltage and power load that was being drawn with an ammeter in the line to the batteries in turn, each time with nothing on there was next to zero draw.
With the panel on .4 of an amp draw. Checked with Elddis and yes the panel will draw .4 of an amp when on and no other circuit switched on.

Another Autotrail with a Sargent control panel that will have the dread EM50 box hidden somewhere
The EM50 will draw a tiny bit as it has a red LED that is usually on at all times, but that would not be enough to cause the massive drop you are suffering

I would be inclined to simply disconnect the batteries and leave them standing to see if they drop on their own..
As mentioned already could well be a matter of a duff battery pulling the others down

I took it that the batteries were most probably OK. .

When I say control panel on, I mean the led read out that's always on showing 12v ,water tank full etc . not the power with red led for water pump etc.
Battery's are fine stay at 12.7 if left disconnected they are only 6 mouths old.

The only way is by trial and error.
As has already been said test it circuit by circuit. Pull all the leisure side fuses then measure as u reconnect.
Send me a PM if u need a hand.
