I have one and have fitted to my last 3 vans. TBH, great bit of kit and worth the money but depends on what van you have. I am looking at a new van and reading about technology of 200 amp alternators and split chargers that are doing the job for free nowadays.

They certainly work well but you may not need one. It all depends on how long you travel between stops and how much power you use in-between. Best if you don't travel far or move on often. Otherwise the standard split charger will do the same - it just takes longer.
