If the cab Battery reads 12,1v it’s not getting a charge for sure. I can’t help with your model weather a has a switch and the hardware built in already to do that, or you need a additional battery master to trickle charge the cab battery. Somebody may know about your model.

It definitely doesn’t sound like it’s charging the cab battery.

Maybe someone will be able to answer for the specific control panel if you post pictures or it’s make and model.

Possibly a Sargent ECxxx unit and controller?

Is there a fuse in line with the cab battery as it doesn't seem to be charging?

Before you start searching for fuses, you need to find out if your controller can charge the cab battery. (Some can’t or don’t)

That image is showing the hab battery.

Can you select which battery is shown on your controller?

What controller etc is it?

I don't think so. If its just the middle button on console it goes from showing levels of water in the tanks, then the pic of both battery levels, and then the last pic of just hab battery. If you press it again it goes back to the clock? Xx

See if you can find the model of the controller.....

If it doesn’t charge the cab battery, you’ll need as Raul said, a Battery Master or CBE CSB2 battery maintaining device fitting, to send a small charge to the cab battery too.

I thought that was in an emergency to run from the van battery in case of leisure battery failure, but I may be wrong!! Plus its a NE 183 mate. Not mate, ha ha think I need a course on typing too! Xx

If you select the cab battery as your power source (not recommended when in use) as you know and plug in the EHU, test to see if the cab battery gets the charge instead.

You‘ll soon see if you use a multi meter on the cab battery.

It could be when the cab battery is online for ‘emergency’ use...it also receives the charge from the EHU.

That's how it works on many Sargent controllers. The battery selected to provide the 12v also receives the charge. Later Sargent units auto-change (smart charging) between the batteries. If that doesn't work, then fitting a Battery Master is the best (and cheapest) option.
