Battery post

Hi I have quick release battery post clamps fitted and fitting solar and wish to use 8mm ring terminal is there any way to do this?
I’ve seen post clamps which inc 8mm threaded post but don’t know if my quick release clamps would fit!

What do your QR clamps look like?

If they are the standard push down type I would replace them with a pair of ones as in your photo, they may take a minute or so longer to release but they will not let you down or worse, lead you up the garden path of believing they are a good connection
Sorry, I may be shouted at, but i have very little faith in those awful QR clamps especially when they have fallen apart the first time

An option, but an expensive one, is when your battery needs replacing fit a dual terminal battery with the solar charge link connected to the second terminal. Battery similar to:

Agree dreadful things, you don't need QR clamps in a motorhome.

Have you got crimped ends on you leads if not then they are no good you need

Those are the real crap ones just thin plated steel.
Fit a decent set of solid brass terminals.
