Anyone built one of these in the UK?

I'm thinking of making one for my van.

Using a lipo car starter battery thingy as the basis.

240/ 12v Charger and possibly an inverter.

Just to run lights phones cool box etc.

I would be EXTREMELY cautious about messing around with LiPo batteries unless you know what you are doing. They do NOT like being mistreated in any way and have a tendency to start bulging and deforming if they are.

I think that's just a lead acid...

There's quite a lot of DIY battery building websites and YouTube channels about. They focus on LiFePo batteries, which are much safer than Li-Ion.

I'll probably just use a starter battery pack like this

And see how long a 2a cool box lasts on it!

Any guesses?

Not very long! I doubt very much if it is 89Ah capacity, as advertised.

Anyone know a cheap b 2 b charger?

I would like to make my power pack fit into a cigarette socket to charge???

You won’t be able to do that.

Even the smallest B2B I know of which is 30amp is three times more than a cigarette lighter will take.

Or this?

The Victron maybe if you can turn it down to 9 amps.

The Sterling no, it isn’t designed for that.
