Find the split charge relay as recommended in the instructions.
I'm not familiar with your van, do you have a control panel with a battery selector switch?

thanks

there is a control above the entrance door that shows the 2 battery's signs, but it seems to control the lights, IE, when its on the "L" [it lights up a led bulb] then you can get the indoor lights to work, the indoor lights do not work when its on the "V" [with the led bulb alight] and i cannot at this time tell you what it's for:Doh:

all in all the instruction "book" is useless im sure it was put together by a ex flat-pack instruction writer,as it written in such a way, that "YOU SHOULD KNOW ANYWAY"

thanks for the help so far

You dont have to use the existing wiring.

If you can find a safe route between the batteries you can just do that.
my mate next door is a qualified electrician and he did it for me
battery to battery...and included an additional inline fuse or two.
but it works well.

Its a DIY job only for those that know........my view is its an expensive box........make sure you get it right..even if you have to pay an electrician for a couple of hours work.

By the way its a lovely thing :) works great with a solar panel.

VanBitz supplied and fitted ours

We have one fitted and it does what it says on the tin... you can check if it is working from the lamp on it. Keeps our engine battery topped up when the RV is sitting on the drive on EHU
