Hi, van been on drive for five weeks and starter battery getting a bit flat, tracker etc.
Looking to fit this

Question is can I connect all three wires to the terminals within the cbe distribution box?

-B2, +B2 and +B1 marked 20,21,22

Seems too simple!!

That's exactly how I've done mine this week so that my engine battery gets charged from my solar panel (not that model, but one that works the same way) after taking advice from the forum, and it seems to be working fine.

Yes I had a Vanbitz battery master to the CBE box in the same way, keeps it simple.

Yes, that's how I would wire it. Works best if you have solar linked to your leisure battery......because the transfer will only occur when there is a difference of 0.75v between leisure and starter. The Battery Master can be purchased cheaper from Jim's shop. This previous thread may help:

Fab thanks exactly what I was looking for!!

If you have a CBE charger and distribution box fitted then it already contains a circuit to charge the vehicle battery in exactly the same way i.e. when hab battery is more than 0.75 volts higher than the cab battery, wether from mains or solar. Just check the display which shows the two batteries linked when charging is taking place.

My CBE DS300 only does that when on EHU, hence the need for an additional device (I used a CBE CSB2) to do the same with solar.

Hab battery full from solar today but no battery to battery unfortunately any ideas gratefully received

On our chausson cbe control panel the two batteries only show they are joined when the engine is running and there is arelay that clicks on. But this might only be a chausson thing.
we have solar and a battery master. The battery master is wired to the cab side of the relais And is not wired into the cbe control panel Although the solar current looks like it goes into the cbe control panel.

now this is most likely a chausson circuit design.
i just put the information up in case any bit of it .applies to your van.

What’s it like in Pembrokeshire in lockdown presumably blissfully quiet?

If it is a DS470-FR it should charge vehicle battery when leisure battery is 13.6V. Two batteries show on PC380 controller normally.

Forgot to say I don’t know if the DS300 has the circuit
