My Outlander key fob light has just shown up on the dashboard.

Can I change it myself?

Where do I get a battery dealer wants £40 I think it is a rip-off

Try Timpsons in the highstreet.
They can probably change it.
Chances are it's a common CR2012 button cell.

As said look on YouTube.

I've done them on VW’s which are a pain but can be done if you’re reasonably handy ?

I have changed the batteries in BMW, Fiat, Peugeot, Smart, Ford and Merc fobs... All bar one had CR202 batteries except one, none cost more than £2, and all are a simple straight swap :-)

Thanks all went on you tube and easy peasy I had a 2032 in stock as they are the same as my door tamper alarms checked it on car all’s good ????
