Hi wonder if any of you guys out there can help.
I've just discovered that my coach battery isn't charging when the engine is running, the only way I can get it to charge is by holding the emergency start button on.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Pete

 Hi peaps. It sounds like the Relay/Solenoid is not working. It should kick in once the Motor battery has recovered sufficient charge. I had this happen on our Newmar while in the USA. :winky:

I had a feeling it would be something like that just didn't want it to be, whoever owned the van before me has created a spaghetti nightmare behind the dash.Looks like I have to get the schematic out.

I had the same trouble with mine and it turned out to be a loose wire on the Zig unit!
I traced the circuit back with a multi-tester from both ends!
Just a thought!

Hi Pete mines wired straight from the ignition switch, as soon as you turn on the ignition it energises the relay. As john says others are different, having either time or voltage delays.
