I have two leisure batteries both wired together with the Sargent add on loom you can buy. I wish to fit a trickle charger so whenever the mains is on it trickles my question is which clips go to which battery ?

Assuming you haven't already got a built in charger (Most Have) so check first
The Red clip will go on any +Terminal on either battery and the Black clip on any - Terminal on either battery.
Treat your two batteries as One Big one, with two + s and Two - s

As geo says what's wrong with the built in charger, shouldn't need another one

The thing is pants, it's running hotter and louder than I would like it to be but had it checked it and all ok.
Just thought a fit and forget trickler better than me remembering to turn the psu on/off as I don't like this particular one being left on.

Negative to negative on one of the batteries, positive to the positive on the other.
This will give a more even charge.

Edit: This is also the best way to have your electrics connected to the batteries as it gives an even dis-charge as well.
