Is it still possible to by the style that I lived in, in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Scoured Google and E.bay but they are not the same.

i take it your looking for jacko style black n white ?
you do still see coloured versions sometimes in uk or more so in spain .
i used to wear either white or red . usually from spain as only black n white in uk years ago.

keep your eyes on lidl they do some coloured ones occasionally .
last ones i bought were blue . i got them in germany while passing through.
have calipers on my legs now so baseball boots are out the window .
cant wear my creepers or my winkle pickers .

Black would do nicely, and WHY, they are soft on the joints,.

How do you know they are still soft on the joints?

it's not the 60's anymore.

My feet kill me whatever I wear, and my knees.
