Arrived at woodhouse farm ripon north yorks friday karen had arrived in car before me as i had to go to work sat,you had to put a code in the barrier for it to open, anyhow the owner said he would open it.in the meantime oliver climbed in the cab shouting one of the dogs had watered the motorhome floor, just as i looked back the barrier was up so i set off bloody hell the barrier came down on the side of us i carried on then stopped clear,in that split second my weekend was spoilt.no damage to the motorhome ,,barrier was slightly bent,it was stiill up from the car in front entering.you would have thought there would have been a sensor to detect an obstacle .The owners son wanted £75 for the damage on close inspection of the barrier it showed plenty of war wounds .i went to work next day the son knocked and asked karen about the money well did he get it ? oh:
