We love these vans, if this were at a fully facilitated dealer, we would have already bought it!
If you have a need for one of these, you will appreciate how cheap this is!!!
I don't think its a scam Terry!

A bargain for anyone with the ready cash!

You won't see them on the side view as the wheels are side by side on the same axle, they will be there though.

I have a 6.5 ton daily excellent base vehicle but beware they have a max permitted weight (train weight)of 10000kg, if you tow anything over 1000kg you will need HGV.

Not so sure Martin.

As far as I know, isn't the train weight limit 8.25 tonnes for C1E licenses issued before 1997?

Not that I care, I have C+E!

We think the lounge is really sociable!

With RWD, diff lock, double floor, Alde heating, huge water tanks and the fact the cab can be closed off, it makes one hell of a van for going on the piste in the Alps!!!

Typical Dethleffs bit of good design. Like the Dethleffs Alpha....... Not afraid to push the boundaries - Hymer (Dethleffs parent) incorporated the idea into one of their new A Class vans

This is awaiting offers and would go a LOT higher than the start price or I hope it does for his sake. Nice bit of stuff though. Sorry I read it again and there must be a load of vultures in the world or it is a scam.

Its about 10k cheaper than a dealer price so I expect it is genuine given the reason for sale.

Would you buy a van on eBay without even seeing it, unless it was spare parts price of course.

I think a look and HPI check before making an offer would be appropriate for ANY vehicle!

I have a Hobby 50c18 which is 5.2 ton with a lot the same as 65c18, I can tow 3 tons which as has been correctly stated is a max allowed of 8.25 tons on my licence, I understand the 65c18 is 6.5 tons so could tow 1.75 tons on a pre 97 licence, these are great motors but not everyones cup of tea, there was one on ebay on & off for a year at 47k - 49k not as good and higher miles as this one and it did not sell.

Why not, if it's not as advertised you have no obligation to pay!
I bought my van like that ,paid cash on the day 3 years ago,the same vans are today more expensive at dealers and around the same privately.

Vlad

Might just be me not knowing how eBay works having never bought anything on here, I would want to go and see it, meet the previous owners and then make my mind up in my own time.
