Really????

Well I drove past on the main road and don't recall any boats or bodies in the water. As lakes go it's very much an under achiever. Bala itself was quiet but well geared up for extracting the tourist pound.

Of course some like quite holidays, I prefer the bustle of Windermere though.

It's a nice quiet site, but nothing else within walking distance. Short drive into Bala. We had a great day parked up by the lake, just out of the town. Big carpark. Hired a kayak for a few hours.
