Today Monday, it's market day in Bakewell, don't forget to feed those big fish in the river with the crust of that pie you had for lunch. :ROFLMAO:

Despite the weather we have had a nice weekend rain has not really stopped all weekend we set of for a run on trike after lunch and managed to get soaked
Only big downside was tonight we went for a meal in wheatsheaf pub and was crap left over half
When ask if ok we said no waitress just gave that look and walked of never to be seen again once stung twice shy
But we will be back again to bakewell lovely place

That's Mr Kipling. Bakewell has Puddings

maybe in your world Graham....

The Bakewell Tart is an English confection consisting of a shortcrust pastry with a layer of jam and a sponge using ground almonds.[1] The Bakewell Tart is distinct from the Bakewell Pudding, which is a dessert made using flaky pastry, with a layer of jam covered by an egg and almond filling.

I don't dispute it John but the original is the pudding. The tart is something of what one might call a prostitution :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

As well as the Bakewell tarts, try the Homity pies, cheese, potato and onion mixture in shortcrust pastry :thumb:
