You can name any van from any country and there will be the odd "disaster" !!
I lived in Germany for nearly 20 years and have a great respect for most things "German made". BUT, I have had 3 English made vans and they have all been sound,
and fit for purpose, with only a few "niggles".. (1 Elddis and 2 Autotrails) ..
But Knockinonabit had a disaster !! I am afraid it is a lottery, I know it shouldn't be when you are spending many tens of thousands of pounds, but it is !! And that is a sad idictment
on the industry as whole.
BUT, why knock the UK ?? Don't we have enough problems already ?? Bent MP's, too
many immigrants etc etc.. Give ourselves a break !!
All I can hope is that anyone buying a new van goes in with their eyes WIDE open, gets as much advice as they can from people who "have the T shirt", try out every van they can find, and check everything that its possible to check.. And that they have the good fortune to pick well and be lucky, and have as much fun as we all do !!!
And never trust verbal agrements.
