Bailey Autograph 79-4 (2017) Boor lock problem

We have a strange problem with the door of our Bailey Autograph 79-4 (2017). On a number of occasions my wife has popped out of the motorhome while I remained inside. When she returned she was unable to open the door. It seems to have locked itself. I had to open it from inside. On occasions when we both sat outside we were unable to open the door and had to use the remote to "unlock" the door despite us not having locked it.

Any thoughts?

Very common in Bailey vans,when we had our 79.4 we never went out side with out keys ,but they are easy to break into! After 6 months waiting for door parts we got rid snd brought German.
