Hi

Has anybody fitted solar panels to a Bailey 765?

I am interested in the way you routed the cables. The battery box is in the floor of the dinette and above this is the electrically operated drop down bed. To the left is the cab and to the right the shower room.

Any suggestions as to the best route from the roof to the battery box would be welcome.

Regards

Chris

Can't offer Bailey-specific help but .............. the connection from your panel controller doesn't have to be the battery itself. The other end of the wires leaving the battery can also be used & may make the cable routing easier.

As you are near the bed have you thought about using a chrome plated pole from the ceiling to the floor, apart from the obvious use you could also feed the cable down through the middle.:)

If you can't 'hide' in a wardrobe or cupboard.. White PVC mini trunking is very tidy.. buy in any DIY store .. comes in several sizes and also with self adhesive backing.

Run in a corner and it's almost invisible..
