Any Adria owners fitted a victron b2b charge in their van ? I have one to fit in my Adria670sl but so many conflicting stories about wether you can connect it straight in and not need to do any changes to existing van wiring , anyone fitted one of these units .

Not familiar with Adria. What 12V distribution system do they use and what power B2B are you planning on fitting?

Sorry not familiar with your Nordelecttronica NE237. I expect it has some form of relay within it to allow the alternator to charge the leisure battery. If the Victron B2B you want to fit is within the power rating of the NE237 you might be able to feed the B2B through the NE237. If you need to connect the B2B directly to the leisure battery I would expect the NE237 to create an unwanted loop back to the engine battery. However as I am not familiar with Nordelecttronica hopefully someone who is will be along shortly.

We have an Adria with the NE237, could I 'just' install a solar panel, MPPT controller and wire it direct to the batteries, bypassing the NE237 altogether and then add a Vanbitz Battery Master to also trickle charge the vehicle battery when solar has fully charged the leisure batteries (when I add an extra battery ..)

The short answer is yes! Depending on how sophisticated the NE237 is you will probably still be able to measure the leisure battery voltage as well, but not the net current, as it won't take account of the solar input. It is what a lot of people do. I have that same setup, but with a Sargent control panel, and it works well. You could also consider a Dual- output Votronic MPPT charger to trickle charge the cab battery, instead of a Battery Master.

An advantage of a Battery Master is that it is often possible to connect it to the split charge relay, or into the control panel terminals, removing the need to run a new cable to the cab battery.

MisterB on my Adria Sonic I have what I think is a Schaudt Electroblok EBL226 and I have done the Votronic Duo 350 connected from Solar panel to hab 2x110 gels and the trickle wire to the starter battery, works very well, keeps everything topped up. Also fitted is the remote display panelšŸ‘

Still works a treat Pausim šŸ‘šŸ‘

All I need now is a B2B chargeršŸ¤”
