We have bought a 2016 SL878, taking delivery 7th July after fitting more solar panel & a few other bits & pieces. This van has a 45 litre black water tank and a pump system to draw the contents of the cassette into the tank. I would expect a macerator to be in the line but I cannot see one. Also the drain point needs a road level grid and is not compatible with the type of facilities used for emptying cassettes. We don't, as yet, know how to operate this system and would welcome any knowledge you may be able to send our way.

Sorry can’t help you with your system but what I do know is that anything that involves Motorhomes and poo is always a winner 👍
Adding pumps and macerators and moving it around is almost guaranteed to provide the forum with hours of amusement and you will probably have stories to tell your grandchildren 😂

I think DavidG58 might be your man.
He's the only person I know with a Hymer that has a black tank (y)
He tells us about it regularly

We do indeed have the predecessor of your system, ours macerates from bowl to tank, but we have no cassette

So to discharge ours is already souped 😁 and goes down same outlet as grey waste

Black first then grey to clean the hose and swill the grate

I am your man for these questions 😁👍

However Paul haganap has exactly the same as I think you have 👍
