Anyone stayed overnight on the Promenade overlooking the beach. Are there restrictions?

No restrictions on the promenade that I'm aware of, but there are new signs in the car park at the end banning motorhomes.

There are vans parked along the promenade most nights this time of year,probably more this year due to the car park being out of bounds.

The "neds" don't tend to go down there. They're usually up at the other end of the prom which is why the MASSIVE speed ramps were put in. All you'll get at this end is the odd overnight fisherman.

A few of the car parks have had height barriers erected over the last few years & sadly this car park is one of them. I used to park my Sprinter PVC there to walk the dogs & really miss the access.
Motorhome folk weren't the problem, its the travellers causing mayhem & leaving the place like a tip that forced the councils hand.
