The designated parking Is free at the moment , just been told the council are between payment systems awaiting a new one being set up. No fresh water or black waste portable units put in place for this season yet .

I wonder if the boy racers will be out tonight, time will tell.

The Aire at Girvan (just down the road from Ayr) was 'controlled' by the lorry drivers, they didn't put up with the boy racers! I need to get up to Ayr some time, love the location. Do you (irnbru) what the charge per night will be?

We gave up on them last year Sandra,

Moved down to Girvan about 2330. There was one that was determined to launch him(her)self over the prom railings by tackling the speed bumps - at speed! When he couldn't do that decided that sounding his horn as he hit the speed bump would launch him further.!!!

Spoke to a motor homing resident of Ayr, at Kiroughtrees the following night and he considered the "boy racing" a Rite of Passage for the youth of Ayr!!

After being parked up , near side wheels on the kerb for levelling and mirrors folded in some twat decided to move back a space after it became vacant with a guide guiding the driver back. Only trouble was the guide didn’t look up. not 1 but 2 signs embedded in side of van

Move forward and risk taking off top corner, not to mention scraping bottom of van

Moral of the story NEVER rely on someone else.

We did think of that but a kind neighbour unscrewed the signs and by putting left hand down and edging forward he managed to release the signs and free the van.

Just left a mark

Some elbow grease and it’s off. Just needs a polish now. Oh so lucky!
