Asking about the Aygo / 107 / C1 owners re gearbox clunks.
We have the Aygo MMT which we Toad no problems for past 4/5 years. A few weeks ago when at Mercedes when we came out and tried to engage reverse it crashed the box which made the engine jump, did this twice then we reversed out and then tried it just down the road. No problems with gearchange or anything since. Took it into Toyota testerday to see if anything logged on the computer.
Nothing listed and gave the car a full bill of health. But atleast now its recorded on our service records.
Has anyone had this on the MMT or Manual gearbox on these cars.
Have read and was told there is no sycromesh coller on reverse so it just did not aline up properlly that time only.
If you like the Aygo then wait a few more months as they are restyling the whole car and what we heard and seen it should be nice..Will See..
