The ground has to be fairly level for the fabric to reach the ground on all three sides. It's no good if you have slack fabric at one and and a gap at the bottom the other end.If the awning is the right height when the van is on level ground without ramps then it's the right size. Don't worry about the ramps.</blockquote>
