Awning

I had the curved one and found it useful we used the awning in the rain as long as it's not too windy the rafter stops water pooling in the middle

I use the centre rafter on our 4m awning.

Would not use the bowed rafter in hot sunshine IMHO it will stretch the awning fabric

Very pleased with ours. One of the better accessories I bought. No negative aspects. Much less wind flap, no pooling.

We have one, I use it but honestly couldn’t tell you if it’s any good but makes me feel better when it’s in place.

We use the Fiamma supplied centre rafter all the time. We also use a Fiamma magic rafter, which stops the awning flapping in a breeze and sheds water a treat.

worth the effort?
Yes, especially if you aren't / can't unroll it completely, as you can wind the awning back in a tad against the rafter to tension it. Without you're just reliant on the arm's spring tension to kep it unrolled.

Was thinking of getting one of these but have never seen a curved one ,what if any are the benefits of it or should I just stick with the normal one .
