I have a 2015 panel van conversion based on 6m Ducato and have just had a Fiamma awning fitted but at present cannot decide what to do about an outside/awning light.
Any suggestions

As above, I ran a long waterproof led strip under the awning and connected through.

Previously we've always had caravans that had a fitted awning light. Our panel Van doesn't have one and I'm not confident enough to fit one myself.
My options seem to be pay around £250 for our localdealer to fit a proper led light with a switch inside the van or alternatively use a rechargeable lamp on a table. We do sit outside but not too much in the dark, occasionally I suppose but a light to help us see while removing shoes or sorting the dog may be usefulbut not at £250!

What do you do or would you do in my circumstances?
