Had ours for 5 years and has generally been okay, occasional over the last few months the screen has gone dark but has corrected itself after a few minutes. Ours is FTA but the new ones are perhaps Freesat.

No complaints here, even though I had a problem when the sat receiver stopped working. Tele was collected, repaired and sent back to me all in 5 days.
Saves having a freesat box taking room up.

We bought one last summer within a few months it stopped working. Collected and repaired. Good picture but not sure how robust they are.

Had Avtex TV/DVD's on the boats and they survived some very rough crossings. At least they didn't empty their internals all over the decks like the crew did at times! :D

Not the cheapest and I know some disagree but based upon my own personal experience I had no concerns in buying a couple of 21" Avtex TV/DVD's (L218DRS) with hard cases for the motorhome. So far they have proved to be a good choice. (y)

I think they are Free to Air and not Freesat.
Also is it a bit late asking what people's thoughts when you have ordered it.o_O

Had one for nearly 2 years and very pleased with it. Compared with my previous cheaper one the viewing angles are greatly improved. The freesat receiver works with easyfind satellite dishes which is a big plus for me. We don't use satellite very often so an expensive self seeking dish seems a bit over the top for us. However, setting up our portable g sat panel is no problem with easyfind.

I have had one good one and one rubbish one so 50/50 for me.

Only had one, a L216DRS, had it nearly 5 yrs and it's consistent, it has the same rubbish picture/colour quality as when we got it:D2

Don't bother with TV in the van anymore so it's relegated to my wife sewing room. Well overpriced imo.
