Avtex TV in Spain (2 Viewers)

Hi
can anybody tell me if the new avtex didital tv works in Spain.My old avtex tv had a analogue receiver built in as well as a didital receiver.The new one only has a didital receiver.
I only want to pick up the few channels that have English speaking programs.

How are you hoping to pick these channels up...traditional antenna, satellite dish, hooked up to site connection point?

I know a few people were having issues with Avtex TVs' in Spain when connecting to the site hook up as it is distributed around the site in analogue which some Avtex TVs' cannot receive.

Ours works fine in Spain on Freeview , most programmes are dubbed into Spanish but the audio button gives you the option to change back to English

We have site tv on our Avtex L185DRS here at Los Gallardos tuned in through analogue , usually get about 53 English speaking channels

Satellite in Spain you will need a 1.2m dish minimum

Depends on the site but you may need an analogue tuner to get the SMATv from the sites feeds

Connect with an ordinary aerial, then tune in. As said before, you can adjust the audio to English in some cases.

I never knew that ...i have an avtex tv and just a digital Ariel...didnt think you could pick up any English tv ...so never tried

Not quite correct
We have been down here since early December with an Oyster 85cm dish and can receive most programmes except of course BBC & ITV
