Yup... Mine does that. You have to use the arrow next to the OK button to move on louder. once your past 21 you can then use the volume again. Its really annoying. I assume there will be a way to disable this in settings as its bloody pointless

Get a sound bar? We have an Avtex sound bar connected to our LG tv and it works a treat

no room for one tbh or i would, it’s an issue with a setting somewhere in the menu which i simply cannot find so no need for a sound bar i hope

Yep, mines the same.
You need to press the 'back' arrow ( as per screen prompt) to accept, then volume increase button as per normal. 👍

If none of the above fix the problem I would suggest contacting Avtex who I have found to be very helpful ....

That makes sense.

Mine did not do that but I think I had that "feature" off. It is possible on some sets to limit the volume and lock it, called "hotel Mode" bizarrely. Manual here around page 20 I think, if it's relevant to your model...

‘Hotel mode’ so-called as it’s a feature most manufacturers hide in their menu system so that hotel guests cannot have the volume too loud and disturb other guests….(y)

Aha!!

sorted it, the feature your all and it is suggesting works fine but not if your using a firestick or anything else in HDM1 or 2

The workaround is to switch to one of the other inputs then adjust to suit and switch back, stupid idea and even the Avtex chap on the phone didn’t know.

He did say the 20% level was far too low and suggested 50% then adjust to suit

Problem sorted though for the time being

Al 👍

I had this same problem with my tv in my touring caravan after reading this thread finally got it solved by doing the previous instructions on this thread would like to add to this if you have a car stereo system in you camper / caravan you can also add a jack lead from the mic audio out let on the tv and other end into your stereo mic inlet and you will have sound surround style from your tv hope this helps as I did this before reading here and enjoy both tv sound now and if watching a movie it’s great through my speakers you must select aux on your stereo
Enjoy
