Hi all

We're heading across the channel on 16th September with no real plans, agenda or time limits. Experience of our first trip to Spain last year in early Spring taught us it's best not to plan too much!

The one thing we would both like to find is some fine and hopefully warm weather. Ginny has a health condition that affects her muscles so she's a lot better in the warmth!

Last year we enjoyed our journey through France making our way to Spain immensely so we had thought to explore a region or two...or three.

So if I'm going to stick a pin on the map how far south should it be?

Cheers Dave and Ginny

You've answered your own question.

Nowt so fickle as the weather, just keep going 'till you find some you like.

If you have a computer and can get weather reports that will tell you where to go.

nowhere near long enough
We are off next Wednesday for our third winter in a row and the one thing that you can be assured of is that the weather will be a whole lot better than Nottingham or the Pennines where we are

Enjoy your trip
