VLINE... Do a search ref windows...
They had some issues with them bending or misshaping.
If your on Facebook there are a few AT groups.
Capacity, go to the Autotrail web site. All brochures for several years are there to be downloaded (y)

Already heard about the windows. Just wondered what a customer thought about if they had enough allowance for everything they want to carry.

My opinion, JUST enough for 2 people , no where near enough for 4

I would get the particular van weighed if you hav3 a particular example in mind

Still looking at the Autotrail 635 sport are the windows ok not distorted as I have heard. Where do you keep the bedding. We have a 2 single duvalays which are quite bulky.

I would be very surprised if AT has redesigned the V-Line window units for 2019.

That said, why not approach a dealer and put him on the spot, alternatively phone Autotrail at Grimsby.

How about a MY18 Auto-Sleeper PVC as there's still loads about on dealer forecourts (at much reduced prices too) and the internal quality seems much better.

If its on the Maxi chassis payload can be up plated, if on the lightweight chassis it would be ok for 2 people without heavy sports equipment and add ons.

We've seen a new V-Line 636 Sport today at Catterick Caravans and I've taken a couple of pics for you, including the price and the spec.

The only concern is that the entire wall trim on the near-side has come away and has warped so it looks as if the near-side wall will need to be replaced entirely and the upper ceiling trim and light clusters are also falling down from their mounts.

This is a brand new van so you may be able to negotiate a much better deal while getting the repairs done too.

All the best,

Andrew

P.S. I appreciate the date of the thread but if I recall correctly you were still in the market for one; sorry if I'm wrong though.

We have a 2018 (Dec 23rd) AT V Line 635SE and we love it. Just got back after 7 weeks away down to Portugal. It has the rear lounge, twin beds, which is great. I’m 6’1 and my wife is 5’9 and we have no issues with the twin beds. The n/s bed is long enough for me. We’ve done 6,000 miles with no major issues. I’ve sorted a couple of very minor issues myself very easily. We averaged 33mpg on our trip and have a manual with the 130 bhp upgrade.

Thanks for that information. We fancied the 636 sport with back curved lounge but seats not long enough. We liked the idea of the front dinette.

Hi, We’ve found the front dinette with the smaller round table really useful, ideal for coffee stops etc, and the extra space provided by the large cupboard behind the drivers seat with the locker above has been a godsend. We obviously only needed a 2 berth, and this layout proved the most versatile for space and sleeping in our price bracket. People knock AT for build quality, but we’ve got friends who have recently purchased a well known German built van from a dealer in Somerset, paid over £60k, and it’s been a nightmare with so many faults, so we speak as we find and our AT has been great, and would buy another one.

SE will be the pair of outward opening doors so two parallel internal rear seats on rear lounge setup. Sport is the lift up thing so you have the U shape seat insider. Obvious other external difference of SE to Sport is the windows.

Mine is on order smaller than you are looking at only the 540SE (they don't do sport in that size), but for a singleton that smaller size should suit me fine.

I've got to admit that the quality of the new 636 on display at the dealers was fairly shocking so how about a Devon van which on first look beats the Autotrail hands down.
