Hi, My first post. I am thinking of buying a autotrail oakmount van. It is a 3 litre engine. Do any of you guys have one. My main concern is the MPG. Advice would be apreciated. Thanks John

I think you have the name wrong... Not an Autotrail model..

Have never heard of one but a quick web search show it as "AutoCRUISE"....

Cant give any advise as not familiar with the brand, Note no rear seat belts so hope you dont ever want to carry passengers.

Hi John :welcome: to the Fun forum.

I think you must mean AUTOCRUISE Oakmont .....

....... if so then we have an Autocruise Augusta (2010) which is a very similar motorhome with a different layout, twin single beds, but has the same 3.0l engine, Alko chassis 4250kg GVW.

We have owned it from new and love it ... we often tow a Ford Ka on an "A" frame and according to the trip computer it regularly returns around 28/30 mpg, the toad making little difference.
