I have a 1998 Autotrail Mohican. One of the few things I dislike about it is the fitted carpet. I would like to remove it but cannot be sure what is underneath it. Has anyone removed the carpet to one of these? What is liable to be underneath?

Theres usually some sort of plastic floor covering under the carpet. Is there a bit you can lift to see, perhaps by the door either habitation or washroom. If it actually goes under the units it may be difficult to remove neatly.

I removed my carpet from my Autotrail Cheyenne and fitted Vinyl, its only plywood underneath and if you cut out the carpet carefully you can use it as a template.
Being very carefull it took me about a day
