After taking on board all the comments and advice given to me regarding my last question about flat batteries i have now taken Both batteries from my van and have them charging at home.
BUT because they were "dead" flat i had to open the van with my key, the central locking was not operating.
When i came to lock the van after disconnecting the batteries i found i could not lock the passenger door, i could find nothing that would allow me to do that.
I know i am missing something simple here, anyone point me in the right direction please.
I just cant believe that a vehicle manufacturer would have missed this in design.
Thank's in advance.

Lock the cab doors then disconnect the battery and exit through the hab door locking manually with key. Discovered this the hard way on cars.

There is a way to do it but blowed if I can remember !
I saw it on Youtube a couple of years ago

Thank's, It's dammed stupid, on cars its real easy, but locking the van up is the last thing i had to do, both batteries were now in my other van and they are too heavy to lug around and reconnect, flippin awkward to get the batteries out in the first place, there just has to be a way to lock the passenger door. i dont fancy leaving it open for month's on end, bad enough it being open now.

When you open the passenger door, look down the side of the door and there is a small rectangular 'hole'. Put the ignition key in, turn it, maybe only a quarter turn and then shut the door. Its now locked.

I just love these little words of advice, Such a great help.
Thank you very much.

Rather than re-install the batteries I was going to suggest you (very carefully) use a set of jump leads to provide (very) temporary power at the battery connections.

But that other trick is much simpler - must try to remember it!

Pop a screwdriver in this hole to push the latch down, you'll hear it click, then close the door.
