Autotrail Charging Question (1 Viewer)

Can some one help me with a question about charging on a Autotrail imala 2017, fitted with the EC155 power control system, can this be switched to smart charging to look after both batteries.

It states. That it does charge both, output split between the leisure and cab batteries.
Not a selectable smart option like on other units.

No smart charging but if you are using EHU select the cab or leisure battery and it will charge the selected battery.

Thanks ramsthom, but that is opposite to the previous post so I am none the wiser.

Smart charging, when available , automatically switches the charging to the battery that is most in need of a charge but in your case it can only be done manually if needed. The EC450 system fitted to my van has this smart feature, but it is not fitted to all systems. The Sargent electrical website shows the different systems and their operating features.
