I would like to put a tv bracket on the wall but wanted to check there is no gas pipes or electric wires I might hit with 4 screws. The wall lrads into the wardrobe and the gas fire is below the wardrobe.
Please can someone advise. I have attached a photo of the wall where I want to put it. Thx

Looks like your services are running down the trunking on the left, surely if there was anything behind it you would see it in the wardrobe. If really worried you could use a stud detector.

We just have our tv the wardrobe and sit it on the unit when parked up .On longer trips it's clamped onto the dinette table for the girls to watch on the move .
Why drill when you don't have to ?

Should be all clear only a wallboard ( check with a detector if you have one) if it was me I would put some kind of stength plates or board inside to help spread the load.. I know it's not a lot of weight but then again the wall boards aint proper wood.....
Like Vlad, in our previous van i always kept it in the wardrobe..
Now we are posh and have a hidden drop down one... !! :)

Not a flip down.. more a drop down with a swivel. ... Go's up behind the cupboard :)
The door does open but no real storage space except i keep the remote in there and some leads...
It is a good idea and keep's TV out of site when not in use but the van is built like that to take it....

CHEEKY !!!! It's a 16 incher......

Ours is the same as yours and we have the tv bracket on the wardrobe above the drawers. As it is a single panel, if you look inside your wardrobe you will see what's behind.
Hope it helps.

Regards,

Trikeman. ;)

Tonka have you made a hole at the back of your cupboard, any photos would be great please when you get time.

Taking the pictures even made me guilty about that wire hanging down..
Took it out, shortened and all re-soldered.. :)

Thank you. That looks really good the way you have done it. .and the photos really help.

And after buying a wall bracket, ordering another bracket would you believe it. I go into the tv box for the 240v lead and guess what's there. The original avtex stand for the back of tv. :)
