Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
due to unforeseen circumstances we have decided to sell our much loved motor home .
In the last 5 years it's taken our family of 4 on some fantastic holidays from the west coast of Scotland to Cornwall then into France and Spain.
It' has 2 solar panels on the roof and 2 110 amp batteries so there is no reliance on campsites or hookups .
It also comes with a safari room and breathable groundsheet which doubles the size of the van.
It sleeps 6 in an over cab pod a double dinette and a large bed ( big enough for a family of 4 to have a snuggle up film night before bed )
This is a genuine sale as we will have to take a break from motorhomoing so everything in the van will be included in the sale .
All the new owner would have to do is fill her up and pick a destination, included is cutlery ,pots pans, small inverter ,blow up settee, light weight camping chairs ,TV ,12 v wii console and games 12 vacuum, endless breeze 12 v fan ,12 v cool box ( new) I'll even throw in a 3 man inflatable kayak buoyancy aids wetsuits and a host of things I forgot are in there.
I will put 12 months mot on and give it a service as it's due in the coming weeks .
It's in good condition for age ( I would say above average )
to be totally honest there are a couple of minor defects there is a crack in the shower screen , a new one can be bought for £170 or I'm told a diy fix is possible , the combo boiler only works on gas I was told you can buy a new element but I never found it a problem.
Good tyres all round Mitchelin camping tyres put on by myself ,.silver screens ,good quality towbar ,
Asking price £21,500 Or near offer

37500 miles

It's plated at 3850 kg which gives a good payload and is a useable 6 berth van unlike others ,as for the chassi I'm not sure .
If @tonka is about he had one and would know.

There is a little cl or cs a stones throw from my house therefore In the spirit of Motorhome Fun I would gladly set up the van for a night or 2 ,awning BBQ the lot so the new owner knew how everything works and
I could answer any questions .

fiat chassie had 15" steel wheels and spring suspension, alco had 16" alloys a galvanised chassie with a wider track on the rear wheels, Ive passed on the info to them, if their interested they will get in touch.
They liked my old scout layout and yours is more or less the same.

It will be Fiat chassis with extensions...
3850kg But I had my 2005 version upgraded with SV Tech to 4100kg, it needed air suspension fitted and the tyre load rateing had to be a certain one... Not Alko on the apache.

Original payload was 670kg as stated in the brochure.. Less any add on's.. The awning as you know is already built in.

You know you did the right thing.

You were happy to accept the first bid, technically a verbal contract in any case

Glad you've sold it but a little sad you won't be MH for a while.
They are lucky to get such a lovely van and extras and their excitement will be palpable.
Hope you aren't leaving the forum for good as love you input!

yes you did the correct thing, but of course if the deposit dosnt turn up in the agreed time scale, I would ring them and tell them to pay for it or loose it. But Im sure it will be ok
